After World War II, American scientists and military officials conducted numerous atomic tests in the American Shouthwest; now this incredible documentary footage (intended for internal use and not declassified until 1997) comes to light in three essential DVDs.

There's dozens of documentaries out there but most are made as an afterthought these were made as it was happening, US military internal films most of the stuff is filled with VERY technical details of the nature of the nuclear blast and it's various characteristics -- practically hardcore porn for engineers.

[edit] DVD 1 : Operation Tumbler Snapper

Despite its effectiveness in the war, little was actually known about an A-bomb's power. In this series of tests in the Nevada desert, eight bombs were detonated, and the effects of the blasts were studied, using obsolete WWII aircraft, trees, jeeps, building materials, military equipment, and small shacks as subjects.
