[edit] Information

A Timeshift documentary recalling the British obsession with boats in the 1960s. New materials made sailing dinghies easily affordable, producing a new generation of weekend sailors. Yachtsmen such as Francis Chichester and Robin Knox-Johnson became national heroes, but there was also the tragedy of Donald Crowhurst, the lone sailor who faked his round-the-world voyage and paid for it with his life.
