This documentary chronicles the German paratrooper mission which attacked the bridges over the Albert canal in Belgium on the 10th May 1940. The purpose of the attack was to put the Fort Eben-Emael artillery out of action, and took the Belgians completely by surprise. The lengthy planning which went into this mission is revealed here, alongside descriptions of the battle from those who fought on either side.
