Women of the Revolution Their names were Anne-Josèphe Théroigne de Méricourt, Olympe de Gouges, Charlotte Corday, Thérésa Tallien, Manon Roland and Germaine de Staël. We take a look at these women who, through their writings or works, contributed to the French Revolution by expressing their rights and ideas, often in peril of their lives.
