A live recording of Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic performing works by Wagner, Richard Strauss, and Beethoven at the old NHK Concert Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 3 November 1957. Note: For a short time in the 1st movement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony the audio reverts to low-quality mono where the original is missing. There are also short missing segments of the film which have been replaced with still frames. Works performed include: Richard Wagner Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg - Prelude Richard Strauss Don Juan, Symphonic Poem Op. 20 Ludwig van Beethoven Symphony No. 5 in C Minor Op. 67
