Megastructures Deep Sea Highway A look at the most deeply submerged road on the planet, which runs through a tunnel that is both earthquake and typhoon-proof.The deepest immersed tunnel to be built in open waters along with two cable-stayed bridges have opened to traffic in South Korea. The tunnel represents a major leap forward in immersed tunnel technology.
