More than eight and a half thousand people died in the two major earthquakes which hit Nepal in April and May 2015. The UN estimates almost three million people are still living in the open. For Nepalis in poor, remote mountain villages, the challenge of rebuilding their homes and their lives is immense. For Our World, Yalda Hakim has travelled to Nepal after both major quakes to meet survivors struggling to salvage what they can in the aftermath of this devastating disaster.
